One of the things you wouldn’t want to happen when flying is when your bag doesn’t meet the size limits of the airline company. I’m assuming your only concern is the physical size, the space your bag will take up, and not really the weight because you should already know the allowed weight limits for your carry-on luggage. It depends on the airline, really. Some restrict the maximum dimensions (length + width + height) to only 45 inches. That means if you have a backpack that measures 9.4”x8.66”x17.3, it will fit because the measurements add up to 35.36.  Size won’t really be an issue if you have a bigger luggage checked in because chances are, your carry-on bag will only be a small backpack or a handbag. But if you’re a backpacker and rely mainly on your backpack to hold your things, it will be helpful if you know the many kinds of backpacks out there, the dimensions, weight capacities, and other features. If you’re travelling and are still looking for a backpack you can take with you on board, refer to Backpacks Global buying guide for more detailed explanations on the backpacks out in the market today.
